Susanne Ungerer is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Random Bit, LLC. She and her husband, Gerhard, started Random Bit because they wanted to create and grow a business built around the values of integrity, accountability and commitment. Susanne has worked for over 20 years in the government health and human Services field. She has worked as a business analyst, systems analyst, testing team lead, and systems training manager in the areas of Child Support enforcement system projects and social security disability. Susanne holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
Gerhard Ungerer is the Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Random Bit LLC, He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from the University of Stellenbosch (South Africa). He holds PMP, ITIL Practitioner, Six Sigma Black Belt, NoSQL developer, and Object-Oriented Design certifications. Gerhard has worked in the software field for over 25 years including defense, insurance, finance, health, engineering, and human services. His various positions include: Chief Information Officer, Enterprise Architect, Director of IT Processes and Quality Assurance, Project Manager and an IT Consultant. Across sectors, he encountered the same basic challenge: to integrate data across organizational, functional and technology silos. He proposes a well-governed enterprise data hub as an architectural solution to this challenge and recently led an implementation project that established an instance of a State Medicaid Enterprise System.
Lori Morrow is the Business Manager of Random Bit. Lori’s responsibilities with Random Bit include recruiting, new employee onboarding, proposal development, policy writing, and other administrative and employee-related projects. Lori joined Random Bit after 11 years as a corporate paralegal. Her background also includes human resources and corporate recruiting and training. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Paralegal Certificate.
