About Us

Susanne Ungerer is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Random Bit. Susanne worked for over 20 years in the government health and human services field as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Testing Team lead, and Systems Training Manager in the areas of Child Support Enforcement system projects, Medicaid, and Social Security Disability.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and loves watching any Tarheel sports team!

Gerhard Ungerer is the Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder of Random Bit. Gerhard worked in the information technology field for over 30 years including defense, insurance, finance, health, engineering, and human services. His various positions included Chief Information Officer, Enterprise Architect, Director of IT Processes and Quality Assurance, Project Manager and an IT Consultant. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from the University of Stellenbosch (South Africa). In his free time, Gerhard enjoys flying and restoring cars.

Susan Gilfillan is the Chief Operating Officer for Random Bit. Before joining Random Bit, Susan spent 17 years at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina where she worked in account and project management supporting government entities. Susan has also prior experience in IT Staffing, holding both sales and recruiting roles. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Carolina. In her free time, Susan enjoys spending time with family, being outside, and reading.

Lori Morrow is the Chief Administrative Officer for Random Bit. Before joining Random Bit, Lori worked for 11 years as a corporate paralegal at Compass Group USA. She also has experience in human resources, corporate recruiting, and training. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Paralegal Certificate. In her free time, you will find Lori rowing or in her garden.

Sonia Gaur is the Human Resource Coordinator for Random Bit. Sonia worked for over 9 years as a human resource professional in different industries. She is experienced in optimizing human resource operations, enhancing talent acquisition, and aligning human resource strategies with business objectives. She holds an MBA degree from Jaipuria Institute of Management (India) in Human Resources. In her free time, she finds joy in seeking out new hiking trails.

Corey Hayes is the Vice President of Employee Engagement for Random Bit.  Corey has 30 years of experience in the private sector, public sector, and higher education, specializing in IT Service Management, ITIL, Performance Management and Project Management.  He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of South Carolina.  In his free time, Corey is an avid outdoorsman, cyclist, and hiker.

Leslie Malotky is the Vice President of Innovation and Strategy for Random Bit. Leslie has over 30 years of experience leading technology strategy, business transformation, and large-scale business and IT initiatives across healthcare, manufacturing, finance, engineering, and government. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. In her free time, Leslie enjoys camping, cooking, and serving as the President of the Board of Directors for the Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra.

Orbra Wortham is the Vice President of Technical Architecture for Random Bit. Orbra has over 20 years of experience working in the fields of software quality engineering, product ownership, cloud architecture, data integration, and solution architecture leading cross-functional teams in developing innovative, secure, and compliant technology solutions that improve operational effectiveness and business outcomes. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Central Arkansas.  In his free time, Orbra enjoys exploring the beaches and botanical gardens of Florida.

Becky Wilkerson is the Vice President of Data Management for Random Bit. Becky has over 15 years of experience leading public health and Medicaid innovation through data analytics, systems modernization, policy implementation, and enterprise technology initiatives. She holds a Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) degree in Biostatistics with a GIS emphasis from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Computer Science degree from Lander University. In her free time, Becky enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and reading.

Sarel van der Westhuizen is the Vice President of Enterprise Architecture at Random Bit. Sarel has over 20 years of experience leading enterprise architecture teams in the fields of healthcare, financial services, telecommunications, and management consulting. He holds an MBA (cum laude) from the University of the Witwatersrand, a Post-MBA Certificate in Leadership Coaching, a Bachelor of Commerce degree, and a Diploma in Information Technology. In his free time, Sarel enjoys spending time with his family and exploring the countryside on his BMW adventure motorcycle.
